Proposed Guidelines for Member Pool Parties Revised 05/30/2008 Pool Hours (regular operating hours) -
Closed on Monday. -
Open Tuesday- Sunday; 10 am -8 pm Children’s Pool Parties -
Tuesday – Friday: 11am -5 pm only. -
No Saturday or Sunday Parties. -
Maximum of 20 kids per party. -
Pavilion by Children’s Pool will be reserved for 2 hours. -
$100 deposit to be applied to final bill. -
$5.00 guest fee for all guest non-members to be billed to member hosting event -
No charge for infants under one. -
As per BCC Bylaws: a guest is ANYONE other than the member, the member’s spouse, and the member’s children living at home under the age of 23. -
All food & beverage MUST be purchased from BCC- the ONLY exception to this is birthday cake. -
Jim & Chef to design children’s catering menu to be used exclusively for the pool area. -
Release forms must be on file for all children attending the event. -
Must be a Member’s or Member Sponsored Event (Member must attend) After Hours Pool Parties -
Wednesday – Saturday; 7:00 pm -11:00 pm only -
Friday and Saturday nights require a $1,000.00 F&B Minimum -
Wednesday and Thursday nights require a $500.00 F&B Minimum -
All Food & Beverage MUST be purchased from BCC – the ONLY exception to be birthday / event cake. -

All pool reservations must be booked through Jim Talbot (373.2552), Director of Special Events. -
Lifeguards are an additional $17.00 per lifeguard, per hour- contact Langley & Taylor (244.9008) to request your lifeguards and pay them directly. The club is no longer able to bill a members account for lifeguard service. -
Courtney to post all pool parties on Website for members to know when the pool is not available for them. -
Management to be responsible for posting signs at the pool to keep members informed of private events being held.
Pool Rules -
No running or rough play, including Frisbee, ball throwing or tag will be allowed in the pool area. -
No animals. -
No metal or bulky articles in the pool. -
Floats and pool toys be allowed in the shallow end only and use may be limited by the lifeguards if the pool becomes overcrowded. -
Mothers are reminded that children in the Kiddie Pool are their responsibility. -
The Kiddie Pool is only for children age 6 and under. -
Only appropriate swimming apparel will be allowed in the pool; no shorts or cutoffs. -
Put all trash in the receptacles provided. You are responsible for the prompt disposal of your own trash. -
Persons violating the pool rules may be asked to leave. -
Chewing gum and glass containers are prohibited on the deck around the pool. -
Children using inflatable flotation aids must be accompanied by parents at all times and must remain in the shallow end of the pool. -
Members may not send guests to the pool; all guests must be accompanied by their host member. All persons must sign in before entering the pool area. If a babysitter or guardian accompanies children to the pool , please notify the lifeguards. -
Children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult member; 16 years of age will be considered an adult in the instance. -
Children who are able to swim the length of the pool may be left unattended, if they meet the criteria of number 13 above. Children who are unable to do this must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible sitter. Parents should be completely satisfied that children using the pool are in complete control of their bodily functions. This is for your protection and the protection of other members and guests. -
No swimming in the diving area. -
No diving in water less than 5 feet in depth. -
No child will be permitted to swim in the deep end unaccompanied by an adult unless they have passed a swim test to include swimming one length of the pool and treading water for at least 60 seconds. -
There will be a ten minute break every hour during which only those individuals ages 18 and over and children accompanied in the pool by their parent may use the pool. -
Responsibility for abuse of any Club equipment must rest with a Club member. Charges for replacement of such equipment will be made accordingly. Anyone destroying or defacing pool property will be asked to leave. -
Please be considerate of others when using the telephone at the pool. Confine telephone use to a minimum of time. |
